The stimulus package that President Obama has been urging Congress to pass near completion. What does it mean for Michigan. Quinn speaks with one of Obama's top economic advisors who helped write the package; Chair of the Council of Economic Advisors Christina Romer.
Quinn then speaks with MI Republican in the House of Representatives Dave Camp. Rep. Camp, who represents mid-Michigan in Washington, sat in the conference committee. He gives Quinn his analysis of how the House and Senate versions of the stimulus package came together.
Here at home, Governor Jennifer Granholm is presenting the state budget. Quinn discusses the budget with Capital Bureau Chief Rick Pluta in Lansing.
Will this generation's economic depression bring out the best or worst in people. Quinn talks with Detroit community organizer Sandra Simmons of the Hush House.

Mayor Ken Cockrel Jr. is set to give his first State of the City Address tonight. We’ll preview it with City Council President Monica Conyers and Wayne State University Political Science Professor Lyke Thompson
Then we speak with someone from the Communication Arts Credit Union about how people get credit to buy cars.
But, as most people aren’t getting credit to buy cars, General Motors is laying off another 10,000 workers. Quinn speaks to automotive analyst Jim Hall about the impact of more layoffs in the auto sector.
