Quinn speaks with a trade expert from the University of Ottawa. Just how important is trade between Canada and the United States?

Are hot-rods done for? General Motors is transfering engineers from it's high performance auto division. Rick Elkin of PJ's Auto-World says it's a sad day for sports car enthusiasts.

Finally, how do we keep people in Michigan? Quinn speaks with demographer Mark Mather.

What is the backstory to Bush not visiting Canada first? What was the situation prior to NAFTA? What is the backstory to the passage of NAFTA? How was it that NAFTA came to be? What is the definition of "backstory" and how does it apply to the content of this show? How can a talking head who does no investigative journalism going to provide a backstory? Who came up with the name of this program, and did they really mean for it to be a rehashing of everything everyone already knows?
