One of punk rock's most enduring legends is back with a new album and backup tour. Rancid is currently recording with long-time friend, producer and label president Brett Gurewitz, who has worked with Rancid on virtually every record in their extensive, accomplished career. The
highly anticipated album is slated for release later this year.

Rancid formed from the ashes of the cult East Bay band, Operation Ivy, in the early 90s and in their 15+ years have sold millions of records. Their 1994 breakthrough hit record Let's Go and 1995 smash ...And Out Come the Wolves garnered gold and platinum records from around the world, produced multiple hit singles and ensured worldwide fame for the band. They will rock the Motor City on Friday, August 1st.
